Meet Tara

BACKGROUND
My name is Tara which means Star. I am a true local, growing-up just above the Woodinville wineries. I moved to Seattle for college, starting city life on Greek Row (what fabulous architecture!), then hopping around Wedgewood, Greenlake, Eastlake and more while earning my BA in Sociology and Master in Teaching from the University of Washington - Go Huskies! I ventured back to the Eastside when purchasing my first property, a condo in South Bellevue, then a tri-level in Juanita / Kirkland, and now a home with a large yard on Norway Hill / Bothell. During this time I was a substitute teacher for the Northshore School District, enjoyed a 17 year long career at The Boeing Company, earned my Project Management Certificate, then rerouted to follow my happy by joining Windermere as a real estate agent. My daughter Claire, son Reid, and rescues Bandit and Chloe keep me harmoniously busy with sports, boating, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, oh my!
COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY
I am a strong believer in supporting charitable causes, especially regarding our communities, schools and animal welfare. Having fostered and rescued cats, dogs, hamsters, bunnies and more (we love the Seattle Humane Society!), it’s a humbling rewarding experience that puts gratitude on the forefront of my daily intentions. Thanks to work / life balance, I enjoy being an art docent and classroom volunteer in my childrens schools. I love participating in my office support of the community by building tiny homes with LIHI, furnishing Mary's Place homes, and volunteering with Lowell Elementary.

Real estate allows me to combine my passions and professional skills to help others. Both buying and selling can be an emotional and overwhelming process. I work to advocate, negotiate and protect my clients interests while reducing their stress level, saving them time, and making the process as easy and smooth as it can be. Utilizing real-time data and experience, I am able to advise and educate my clients so they can be confident we are working together to protect their contractual and financial interests while meeting their real estate goals.
